ELECTRICAL SAFETY TRAINING

OBJECTIVE:

The purpose of this course is to train non-electricians about electrical hazards.

The student will learn about the special hazards of electricity and how to apply the rules of electrical safety. Special attention is paid to recognizing faulty insulation, Lockout-Tagout , GFI protection, proper use of extension cords, insulated power tools, Personal Protective Equipment and proper grounding of flammable containers.
